With the BR-6208AC V2 Wireless-AC750 Dual-Band Fast Ethernet Router from Edimax you can take advantage of enhanced wireless data speeds of up to 750 Mbps making it easy to stream multimedia content, quickly transfer large files, and more. This router supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi network standard and operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies allowing more bandwidth intensive tasks to be allocated to the less congested 5 GHz frequency. In addition to dual-band connectivity, users can also take advantage of VPN support for secure access to your home network from virtually anywhere you have a network connection.
Setup and configuration of this Edimax Router is simple thanks to Smart iQ Setup eliminating the need for installation software. Plug in the router, use your Web browser to access the iQ Setup page and begin accessing the Internet. Once configured, iQoS makes it easy to navigate the often-complicated Quality of Service settings within the router. By doing so you can manage network resources to ensure game consoles, video streaming devices, VoIP applications, and other bandwidth intensive tasks have the network resources needed to function smoothly.
In addition to enhanced wireless support, this router comes equipped with three Fast Ethernet LAN ports and a single Fast Ethernet WAN port offering a reliable wired connection option.
